Led by the “Man in the Golden” pants, Wayne Lau,  Team Chi has silently put together their best year in the last 6 seasons. In fact, since  January 2011, the Chi-gantes have gone  22-7 in their last 29 games.   Although their shirts say “Sluggers” success has been found in the field, holding opponents to 1 or less runs in 5 games this season

Some of pointed to a  softer 1^st half schedule to their success,  however, Commissioner Meyers poo-paahed any hint of impropriety. “That's probably just Flynn spreading rumors again” Meyers lamented. 
“Defense wins championships” league stalwart Andy Hasbun chimed in.
