Check out first weekend action.....

And on the 9th day God created…. Lights at King’s Park! Before night time festivities kicked off however there was plenty of action out on the Tarp.

In game one the Movers pounded the the men from down under 20-8. It was a disappointing King’s park debut for the Aussie’s both on the field and in the bleachers as there were no tunes to be played so Tmac gave the afternoon off.

In game two the Brew House beat up on a depleted Santa Fe 23-10. The Movers experimented with a new lineup- four regulars, three tomato cans and a lamp post. The experiment didn’t quite pan out and we will have to wait another week before we see the real Santa Fe squad.

The third game of the day featured Bulldog’s vs. the Brew House. The Dog’s got up early and never relinquished the lead winning 10-7. Big Ben Gird smacked a grand salami and Dirty scooped up everything in sight to pace the Dog’s to victory.

In game four Willett pitched the Dog’s to a 10-0 victory over their canine brethren the Dog House. Congrats to Skillet for perhaps pitching the first ever shutout in HKSPSA history!!

In game five The Dog House beat up on the Bond Traders 23-9. Gimp went yard and pounded the ball all over the park to pace the kennels to victory.

In game six things got interesting…… What on the surface seemed to be a rather docile matchup actually turned out to be a family feud! Over the summer Ken Clarke and Tom Allen decided to part ways from The Keg angering Preston P. Powell III. Throw in the fact that Ryan “prostate” Prosser left last year and this game suddenly turned into a serious grudge match! The Bond Traders jumped all over The Keg smoking them 20-4. This was an old fashioned smack down with the old Keg boys jawing all day at The Third. This is shaping up to be one of the best league rivalries and don’t think for a moment that The Third won’t remember this…..

In the last game The Invisible Team beat The Keg 20-4. Meyers is the first one to hit it OUT of the park, completely clearing the fence.
