Movers Dominate!

After being knocked out of the '02 playoffs relatively early Santa Fe was in the strange position of having to retool it's lineup. In the off season word got out that Dean Croy of Planet Hollywood (current day Sportview) had one year left in Hong Kong and wanted to win a championship.  Long considered one of the leagues best players, Santa Fe was the perfect match for the championship hungry Croy, who ended up batting .717 with 4 HR's for the '02-'03 season.

The Movers dominated the regular season going 19-2.  In the playoffs they skated their way to the finals where they met up with a beleaguered Coyote team.  For Coyote, the big trio of Cody Cain, Ryan Young and Mark Fisher had the unenviable task of having to beat Blue Sphere (current day Brew House) in what turned into a 55 run playoff classic, only to have to turn around and defeat Santa Fe twice if they were going to win the championship.  Oh yeah, they had to that all in one day!  Wasn't going to happen!!  The Movers jumped out early and beat Coyote 10-5 to reclaim there stake as the baddest team in all of Hong Kong!  Many would argue that of all the great Santa Fe teams this was perhaps their most powerful!
