Note to teams:
The "Playoffs 2009" tab is similar to the homepage in that there are sub-tabs where you can access your team's roster and stats, playoff schedule and playoff batting and pitching leaders.
Rosters on the team pages are also up-to-date and include all eligible players for the playoffs. If your name is on the roster, then you have played the required four regular season games. If for some reason you think someone is missing from the roster, then please send an email to (ken.clark2@wachovia.com or decafmochatini@yahoo.com) and I'll look into it right away.
Playoffs will be run as follows:
The first round will be made up of all teams seeded one through eight, based on record.
After Round 1 – Losing teams move to the Plate Bracket. Plate Bracket teams will be seeded based on record. First round of the Plate Bracket Series is best of 3, winners move on to the Plate finals.
Winning teams in the first round will move forward in the Championship Bracket – there is no reseeding of teams in the Championship Bracket.
All Championship Bracket games and Plate finals will be best of three.
Notable rules for the post-season:
