Who's hot & Who's not

Annnnd down the stretch they come…. Teams are making their last push for playing time before the earliest ever playoff start & conclusion.   Playoff seedings should start to take shape this weekend. Let’s go to the games
10:00 GAME 1
WANCH     @ BULL DOGS ( -2.5)
UNDER / OVER 12.5
The wayward Wanch bunch have not only looked like a cast of extras from LOST, but have somehow lived down from  their early season promise. Once again, all the tools are there, but  something’s  LOST IN TRANSLATION.   McSwain ( what a name for detective show ) is quietly having one of the best hitting seasons in the entire  league. Still….  injury depleted Bull Dogs should have more than enough to claim their 5th win of the season.

11: 30 GAME 2
McSORLEYS  @ WANCH   (pick em )
OVER / UNDER : 10.5

This game should come with a warning “ Do not operate heavy machinery after watching” yawn…. Two teams heading in similar directions battle it out for … last place.. No lottery pick here,   this one’s just for pride at this point. Struggling McS will be sporting their 2011 championship gear, but have played like anything but champs so far. I like the Wanch to pull out of their tail spin & send their opponent into one.

1:00 GAME 3
DOG HOUSE ( -3.5 )  @ McSORLEYS
OVER /UNDER : 6.5

As of this writing, Willett Bird is hitting .050…. ( insert joke here) But seriously, I think he’s just trying to get down to 0.0 & start over again. Hitting aside though, he’s still an ace on the mound & should be able to more than shut down Dog House who’ve hopefully scored more off the field than on. … A paltry 8 runs in their last 3 games.  Unless the “Shanghai Shuttle” arrives prior to game time, chalk one up for the champs
2:30 GAME 4 GOTW !!!!
BREW HOUSE   @ LIBERTY EXCHANGE ( -3.5 )
OVER / UNDER : 12.5

Rubber match between perennial power houses. It’s gonna come down to who comes out to play… literally…, everyone’s traveling & who knows who’s available at game time . One thing’s for sure, get your cold beverage, do your vocal warm-ups & get ready to enjoy ! Long ball threat Jeff Buhl looks to fuel high octane offense….. and is that  Preston lurking in the shadows…..    Liberty to jump out early & hold on
 4 :00 GAME 5
CHI   (-3.5) @ SANTE FE
OVER / UNDER : 8.5

Twilight matchup features the two most improved teams from 2011. The CHI-gantes have added some spice to their lineup and made the most of their  “Tri-Minican “ assault of Rondon, Guitterez & Hasbun. Bean pole Pete Skrief has anchored the hot corner on route to minimizing an astonishing 25 runs against this season. They’ll need all hands on deck as hard hitting SF are like the Energizer bunny, the hit & hit & hit.  A see-saw battle unfolds , but the Sluggers should nail down win # lucky 13.
